Job Summary
Job Summary
The School Nurse provides nursing services to eligible students and assesses students who may have health or serious physical related problems; provides training to parents and educators in order to deal effectively with health-related issues; serves as a liaison between families, the school and medical practitioners to ensure continuity of medical care and services to students. This position also organizes, plans and assists with the implementation of health-related services countywide, including serving as the lead for planning and implementing health-related services for schools, districts, and the county office as needed. Education and Experience: Possess a Registered Nursing Degree or a Credential with School Nurse authorization Possess a valid California Driver's License Bilingual (Spanish-English) highly desirable
