Job Summary
Provide classroom-based instruction to high school students in one or more assigned areas; demonstrate the skills and abilities to work in a classroom-based learning environment; collaborate with staff to provide an optimal learning environment for at-promise students; evaluate student progress and communicate progress to students; implement teacher standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters’ Degree preferred Previous successful teaching experience in an alternative school setting is desired Experience and passion for working with at-promise student population preferred Appropriate valid and current California Single Subject or Multiple Subject Teaching Credential English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate or Bilingual Authorization/BLCAD or Certificate of Completion of Staff Development (CCSD) or equivalent required Why SIATech? Salary: $76,903.78-$129,166.20
2026-2027 Salary Schedule/Appropriate placement on Certificated Salary Schedule/* A maximum of 7 years experience may be granted for previous full-time experience outside of SIATech
Master's Stipend $2,000; Doctorate Stipend $2,000; Dual Credential Stipend $5,000
Benefits:
Member of California State Teacher's Retirement System (STRS). SIATech contributes 19.1% of salary to STRS annually (2025-2026)
