Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Associate Degree or 48-semester units of college course work in child growth and development, special educaiton, instructional technology, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. Or Testing: Passing scores on the Redlands USD Paraprofessional test. NOTE: Required examination for candidates who do not possess an Associate of Arts degree, or have 48-college semester units of general education coursework will be administered on the following dates: 1. April 29, 2026 -- 2 PM- 20 W. Lugonia Ave. Redlands CA 92374 2. May 5, 2026 -- 10 AM- 20 W. Lugonia Ave. Redlands CA 92374 NO FURTHER NOTICE WILL BE GIVEN. Testing time is approximately 1.5 hours. Disabled applicants may request reasonable accommodation prior to closing date in regard to testing procedures. Photo identification will be required at test site. PLEASE BE ADVISED: TEST SCORES FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS REMAIN ON FILE FOR ONE YEAR. EXPERIENCE: One year of paid volunteer experience working with children of various age levels requiring a specialized learning environment.
