Part-Time | Onsite | Novato, CA $35–$50/hour | Approximately 24 hours/week (Tues–Thurs during school year) Organization Overview RISE Scholars, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunity for students who do not have access to the same resources as their more privileged peers in Marin County. While rooted at Hamilton School, a Title One K–8 public school in Novato, RISE’s work supports a community of children and families navigating systemic barriers to academic and personal success. Through innovative academic and enrichment programs—including RISE in Math, RISE in Reading, Math Academy, Athletics, Chess, Mentoring, and SummerHawks—RISE provides targeted, high-impact support that builds skills, confidence, and a belief in what’s possible. Position Overview RISE Scholars is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intervention Math Specialist to lead our RISE in Math, RISE in Reading, and Math Academy programs. This part-time, on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality small-group academic intervention and enrichment to students who benefit from additional support and challenge. The ideal candidate is a strong middle school math educator who is passionate about helping students from 1st-8th grade, build foundational skills, confidence, and a love of learning.
