We also offer adult education services, and a variety of special education services as the Responsible Local Agency (“RLA”) for the Special Education Local Plan Area (“SELPA”); including, five special education preschool programs and a program for transition-aged young adults (ages 18-22). Payroll Technician I: Under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services, perform a variety of technical accounting duties in the preparation and maintenance of an assigned payroll(s); audit and reconcile STRS, PERS and payroll reports; assure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner; or, Payroll Technician II: Under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services, perform a variety of technical accounting duties in the preparation and maintenance of an assigned payroll(s); audit and reconcile STRS, PERS and payroll reports; provide support to districts regarding proper coding and reporting for payroll and retirement purposes; assure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner. Payroll Technician III: Under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services, perform a variety of technical accounting duties in the preparation and maintenance of an assigned payroll(s); audit and reconcile STRS, PERS and payroll reports; provide support to districts regarding proper coding and reporting for payroll and retirement purposes; serve as a technical resource to school district personnel and provide support and assistance as needed; assure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner; assist employees with various payroll-related issues.
