Under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services, assist in the planning, organization and management of the daily activities and operations of the District’s Nutrition Services programs and school cafeterias; coordinate and schedule catering events; train and supervise the performance of assigned staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition or related field and three (3) years of experience in school food service management or combination and/or experience that could likely provide that knowledge and ability. Licenses and Other Requirements: Valid California driver’s license and proof of current California auto liability insurance at time of appointment, and throughout employment in this classification. Personal automobile for job-related travel. Must possess or obtain the Food Safety Manager Certification by the end of the probationary period. Food Safety Certification Instructor Certificate from accredited program by completion of probation. Valid Serv-Safe Certificate.
