General Job Description All self-contained classroom teachers holding a Multiple Subject Credential in Sebastopol Union School District may be responsible for teaching any or all of the following subjects, depending on the assignment: English-language arts, reading, mathematics, science, social studies, health, visual and performing arts, music, and physical education. Sebastopol Union School District (SUSD) teachers are expected to be active participants in the school culture and assist with the daily supervision and safe operation of the school. SUSD teachers collaborate with grade level colleagues in the development and refinement of instructional programs, materials, and activities, and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning. Early primary teachers are expected to be particularly skilled in supporting the unique needs of students who are just beginning school. These skills include, but are not limited to, beginning literacy and numeracy acquisition, and early childhood social-emotional development.

Exact teaching position will be determined based on student enrollment in mid-summer. This posiiton will be assinged to teaching any grade K, or K/1 combo.
