Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Master’s Degree or higher degree from an accredited college and a Valid California Administrative Service Credential 2. Valid California Teaching Credential or Valid Pupil Personnel Service Credential 3. Four (4) or more years of successful Teaching and/or Pupil Personnel experience, preferably at the high school level. 4. Experience supporting positive school culture and climate through an equity lens desired. 5. Demonstrated experience overseeing and implementing student discipline practices, including restorative approaches, progressive discipline, and behavior intervention plans, at the secondary level. 6. Working knowledge of California Education Code and district policies as they relate to student discipline, student due process, suspensions, expulsions, manifestation determinations, and student rights, with the ability to apply these consistently and equitably. 7. Experience monitoring, analyzing, and responding to attendance data, including chronic absenteeism and truancy, and coordinating tiered interventions in collaboration with counseling, administration, and external agencies. 8. Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring attendance improvement strategies and student support systems, including SSTs, SARB processes, MTSS/RTI frameworks, and family engagement practices. **Application must include recommendations and professional references from evaluating administrators. • Credential Copy • Letter of Introduction • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters, two current.) • Resume **Applicants who fail to include all required documents to apply will not be considered for this position.
