THE POSITION
The Human Resources Division is now accepting applications for Executive Assistant (Confidential).
Under the direction of an assigned Director in the Human Resources Division, performs varied, responsible and confidential administrative assistant duties to relieve the Director of administrative and clerical detail; plans, coordinates and organizes office activities and coordinates flow of communications for the Director; serves as liaison between the Director and other County Office departments/staff, district, union members and outside agencies; serves as recording secretary to the Personnel Commission.
This position is full-time, in-person and has a work year of 12 months, 260 days, 8 hours per day.
Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master’s degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provided official documentation is submitted.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES

- Following the final filing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated.
- The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a written exam, tentatively scheduled for April 30, 2026.
- Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in an in-basket exam, tentatively scheduled for May 6, 2026.
- Those who pass the in-basket exam will be invited to participate in an oral examination with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for May 14, 2026.
- Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, schedule TBD.
- Second interviews may be held in-person.
- Candidates will be invited over email to participate in examination and selection steps, using the email supplied within their SchoolJobs.com applications, or as updated by candidates in their SchoolJobs.com master profiles.
