Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, the High School Counselor provides all high school students equitable access to a quality developmentally appropriate and comprehensive guidance counseling program focused on academic success, personal, and social development, as well as career and college guidance. Delivery of these services may be provided through individual and group activities as well as through classroom and small group activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Possess a Masters Degree in Counseling - Valid California Pupil Personnel School Counseling Credential - Experience with identifying and supporting struggling and "at risk" groups - Three or more years counselor experience (preferred) - Experience with Restorative Justice and Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
