Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: • At least six months working with children in a structured environment, preferably with speech and language disabilities • Any other combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired skills, knowledge or abilities may be considered Education: • Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate of Arts degree and a certificate of completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program are required

The East Whittier City School District provides educational opportunities (transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, including special education) for approximately 9,000 children. The District employs approximately 1,075 teachers, administrators and support staff. We have 13 schools which operate on a traditional school year schedule.
