Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Support Services or designee, the MTSS Coordinator provides collaborative leadership in the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation systems that support academic, behavioral, and social emotional success for all students. The Coordinator role ensures that Tier 1 instruction is strong, interventions are timely and effective, and site teams use data to improve outcomes.

Requirements / Qualifications

Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible intervention experience, including direct service delivery, instructional support, program coordination, or administrative leadership. Experience coordinating, implementing, and monitoring Intervention and Special Education programs and related services to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and District policies. Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including administrators, teachers, service providers, families, and outside agencies. Experience mentoring and coaching staff and peers.

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED *Valid California Clear Administrative Services Credential *Valid California Teaching Credential with EL Authorization *Master’s in Education, Public Administration, or related field (required); Doctorate (desirable) *Letter of Introduction *Letters of Recommendation (2 Letters Required, Dated Within the Past Year) *Resume
