Job Summary
Under the direction of the County Superintendent of Schools, the Executive Director performs professional, highly complex duties involved in establishing, analyzing, auditing, and maintaining certificated and classified personnel functions. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Human Resources strategies, functions, and operations within the Siskiyou County Office of Education (SCOE). The Executive Director serves as a collaborative, interdependent member of the County Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet and provides support to the County Superintendent as well as to administrative staff in school districts, in a variety of administrative functions.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree The minimum qualifications for work experience may be met through any combination of experience amounting to a minimum of five years: • Experience leading a human resource team • Administrative experience in the public school (K-12) system related to personnel management or district leadership REQUIRED DOCUMENTS • Letter of interest • Resume • Three (3) letters of recommendation • Copy of transcripts (unofficial accepted)
