Position Overview As a Math Teacher at Servite High School, the candidate will: -Teach 5 periods (full-time) through the year. -Proficiency in teaching a full sequence of high school mathematics courses, which could include the following: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Precalculus -Design and deliver engaging lessons that emphasize conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and real-world application. -Support students in developing strong foundational skills and confidence in mathematics. -Collaborate with the Math Department and administration to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices. -Integrate Servite’s Catholic mission and values into classroom culture and instruction. -Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the life of the school community. Requirements / Qualifications
Required: Candidate should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. Preferred: A California Teaching Credential is preferred, but not required Preferred: Experience teaching/coaching in a high school setting. Applications are reviewed upon receipt.
