Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, develop and facilitate system-wide learning and support for districts and schools to enhance student services and wellness. This includes implementing continuous improvement processes that promote student well-being, mental health, and overall success. Collaborate within the department and division on innovative initiatives that integrate the latest research-based strategies in student support services, school climate, and wellness programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential; • Possess a valid California Teaching Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential; • Three (3) years site or department level administration experience; • Five (5) years classroom teaching experience or direct pupil services experience; • A Master of Arts or Science Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred; • Possess or obtain upon employment, a valid California Driver License; • Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting twenty-five (25) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance. Employee will be a member of the State Teachers’ Retirement System (STRS) and may elect to be a member of the Mendocino County Federation of School Employees Union. MCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.
