Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must provide the Personnel Commission with a copy of the following at the time of application (you may upload the documents to your online application): -Current three-year driving record (request a form "K4" at a local California DMV office or via mail request by filling out a California DMV INF 1125 form by visiting: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/forms/inf/inf1125). The K4 form should be dated within 30 days of submitting your application. -Type-1 School Bus Special Driver Certificate with code 0, 1, or 6 restrictions (from DMV) -Class A or Class B California Driver License with passenger endorsement or equivalent -Current medical certificate approved by the DMV -Current first aid card
