JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation (“MOT”), or designee, the Facilities Project Coordinator plans, organizes, and supervises a full range of complex duties to support all aspects related to the construction, repair, remodeling, and upgrading of District facilities. The Facilities Project Coordinator will plan, organize, and coordinate facility projects, including new facilities and the maintenance and modernization of existing facilities; ensure projects are completed efficiently and within District standards, regulatory guidelines, budget, and projected timelines; liaison with various internal and external agencies and staff;
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED or combination of vocational education/training, certificates, and/or work experience; General Contractors License preferred;
• General Contractors License preferred. • Management experience in the field of architecture, engineering, construction project management, educational facility planning, or other related field. • At least three (3) years in a supervisory or management capacity, performing general construction of school or similar institutional facilities, building, or properties.; (Job description attached to posting).
