9 months/year; 27 hrs/week Provide musical accompaniment and support for classes, rehearsals, and performances across a range of instruments. Collaborate with the visual and performing arts program to enhance student learning and artistic expression.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent; must be skilled and technically proficient on the instrument outlined in the posting. Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills, such as one year of experience supporting music instruction or performance in a school or ensemble setting (e.g., band, choir, instrumental groups, or solo performers), supplemented by coursework or training in music performance, theory, or a related area. Strong sight-reading skills; experience working with students in large and small group settings is preferred.
