THIS POSITION REQUIRES ABOARD OF CERTIFICATION CREDENTIAL FOR ATHLETIC TRAINERS AND A CTE CREDENTIAL. IF YOU HAVE THE ATHLETIC TRAINER CERTIFICATION AND DON'T HOLD A CTE CREDENTIAL, IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT WE CAN APPLY FOR IT UPON HIRE. PLEASE CONTACT JESSICA HUMPHREY TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY.

-2 current letters of reference PHYSICALLY SIGNED and DATED WITHIN LAST 36 MONTHS (letters from family members will not be accepted) -Letter of introduction -Resume INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE SCREENED OUT
Education and Experience: • REQUIRED Completion of the Board of Certification (BOC) Exam. • PREFERRED Master’s degree in Athletic Training (or related field) • Medically-related industry experience and skills to instruct students in technical skills necessary towards a career in the area of Medical Science and Technology. • Three (3) years of work experience in the technical skills, trade, or vocations to be taught are required. One year equals a minimum of 1,000 clock hours and the experience may be full-time, part-time, paid, or unpaid. One (1) of the three (3) years of the required experience must be within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years. o The following may be used as one year of work experience toward meeting the three years of required experience: o Possession of an advanced industry certificate related to the industry sector to be named on the preliminary credential, as determined by a Commission-approved CTE program sponsor o One year of full-time general education teaching experience providing instructional services in preschool or grades K-12 earned in a public or private school of equivalent status. Licenses and Certificates: • Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing; • Candidate must qualify for or possess a valid Three-Year Preliminary or Five-Year Clear Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential for the subject to be taught, including English Second Language Certification • Possession of a valid California driver’s license to be maintained throughout employment.
