About the Employer

The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Basic Function: Under the direction of the Head of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, oversee the operations and activities of the Custodial Department; maintain appropriate inventory levels of District custodial supplies; train and evaluate the work performance of assigned custodial personnel. Interviews April 20, 2026 in person.
