Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources or HR Program Manager, the Human Resources Analyst performs advanced, technical, and confidential human resources functions. The Human Resources Analyst leads work related to credentialing and assignment monitoring, certificated recruitment and selection, workforce pipelines, HR data analytics, and immigration processes including H-1B and J-1 visa coordination. The position provides essential support to certificated labor negotiations through data collection, analysis, and research and ensures compliance with state and federal employment laws, CTC regulations, District policies, and collective bargaining agreements. The Human Resources Analyst collaborates closely with site leaders, department managers, legal counsel, external agencies, and HR staff to support equitable, efficient, and compliant HR operations.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Educational Administration, or a closely related field. - Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources experience, preferably in a public school district or county office of education. EQUIVALENCY A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible human resources experience demonstrating competency in HR operations, credentialing, or workforce analytics may be considered. DESIRED - Knowledge of California Education Code, Title 5, and credentialing requirements related to certificated employment. - Experience supporting recruitment and selection processes in a public education setting. - Experience preparing HR reports, dashboards, or workforce analytics to support decision-making. - Ability to interpret laws, regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and District policies. - Experience using HRIS/ERP systems, credential databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. - Professional HR certifications (ACSA Personnel, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) are desirable but not required
