Qualifications and Desired Experience: ? Possess or have eligibility for appropriate Administrative Credential ? Education - Master=s Degree desirable ? Experience - Minimum of 5 years successful classroom teaching (equivalent experience in a school related position may be substituted for actual work in the classroom) ? Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teachers, parents and students ? Previous administrative experience desirable Duties & Responsibilities: To provide administrative assistance to the school principal, assuming responsibility for major portions of school operations, as assigned. Typical tasks: ? Assists the principal in the supervision and evaluation of members of the staff as assigned. ? Responsible for student discipline and behavior and disciplinary programs. ? Supervises the instructional program and provides leadership in curriculum development. ? Plans, organizes and implements a school-wide program for supervision and control of students including conferring with students, parents and teachers to resolve individualized student academic and behavior problems. ? Interprets the educational program to staff, parents and other members of the community when necessary. ? Coordinates and assists in the supervision of extra-curricular activities. ? Supervision of assigned office procedures and office personnel. ? Performs other duties as assigned.

Valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility Valid CA Teaching Credential with EL Authorization Masters Degree in Education or related field Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience. Previous administrative experience is preferred but not required. Three (3) letters of recommendation dated within last two years.
