Coordinator, Extended School Programs at Covina-Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
The Position: The Coordinator of Extended School Programs, under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services or Designee, will be responsible for the operational organization, monitoring and supervision of District extended school programs, including all school based before and after-school programs, year-round education intersession programs. Responsibilities include coordinating community partnerships, training, supervising, and evaluating all assigned personnel, as well as budget planning, program compliance, oversight, and related work as required. Qualifications: Must possess a Master's Degree, Elementary school, Early childhood education, or other related administrative experience, a valid California teaching credential, four years of teaching experience, teaching experience at more than one grade level, and a program of professional preparation, including student teaching, at least one year of verifiable experience in a non-classroom leadership position such as a coordinator, instructional coach, etc., and a valid Administrative Services Credential authorizing K-12 service. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
