As Springs Charter Schools continues to expand to meet growing student interest and diversify our program offerings, we are opening the new Orchard Academy for the 2026–2027 school year, grounded in the Core Principles of Public Waldorf education. Orchard Academy seeks individuals passionate about leading this new initiative. Charter school experience and Waldorf-informed practice preferred. CA teaching and administrative credential preferred. Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: * California Teaching Credential - Single Subject or Multiple Subject; * Master’s Degree preferred; * Admin Credential preferred; * 5+ years experience preferred as Principal, Assistant Principal, or Director of K-12; * Prior administrative/leadership experience in a charter school preferred. Knowledge of education, current practices in program design, implementation and evaluation as well as public policy trends and legislative actions. Knowledge of relevant public and private sector institutions. Knowledge of teaching and learning (theory and practice), organizational development, training design and performance management. Knowledge of the learning needs of special populations, particularly those with barriers to educational advancement. Organizational leadership capabilities: administrative, organizational, strategic planning and supervisory ability. Must possess a strong sense of personal vision and the ability to articulate that vision to others.
