Job Summary

Under teacher supervision help plan and implement an English language program for non-English speaking students and assist as a community resource person; do related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

MATERIALS Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or possession of an AA degree or higher; or verification of having obtained a passing score on a district-approved proficiency assessment demonstrating knowledge of, and ability to assist in, instructing reading, writing and mathematics. Bilingual preferred: Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, or Farsi.

This position is for the 2026-27 school year, starting on or around August 6, 2026. This position will assist credentialed teachers in the ESL classrooms. Work hours will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. See job description for complete duties and requirements.
