Job Summary

The Poway Unified School District is seeking applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Please note that this posting is for an ELIGIBILITY POOL only. As positions at the middle school or high school become available, candidates may be contacted directly by school sites or the Poway Unified School District Career Technical Education Department. Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential or proof of the ability to obtain a valid teaching credential. Pay Range - California Single Subject Teaching Credential: $58,959 - $127,725; CTE Credential: $58,968 - $75,295

Requirements / Qualifications

CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: A valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential – Industrial Technology Education or Industrial Arts or Mathematics or Business Education or a Career Technical Education Teaching Credential – Information and Communication Technologies or the ability to obtain a valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching Information and Communication Technologies. Requirements for obtaining a Career Technical Education Teaching credential may be found at: https://www.sdcoe.net/educators/educator-preparation/designated-subjects/~board/designated-subjects-credentials/post/career-technical-education-cte-credential-information REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to applying for this position. Copy of valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential – Industrial Technology Education or Industrial Arts or Mathematics or Business Education or a Career Technical Education Teaching Credential – Information and Communication Technologies or the ability to obtain a valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching Information and Communication Technologies. 2.
