Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Superintendent/Principal or designee, assists staff in the direct supervision of students to ensure student safety and conformity with school and school bus rules and/or performs duties as a crossing guard. This is a classified position that assists certificated staff to supervise students; assists in minimizing the danger to students of crossing specified streets which surround the District school; and assist with supervision on School District buses and/or vans. The term of employment is 180 days – two to four hours may fluctuate from trimester to trimester based on operational needs of the District. *Split shift - must be available to work 2-3 different shifts per day for a total of 3.75 hours

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications: *High School Diploma or GED. *Valid California driver's license. *Experience and/or desire to work with young people. *Three-four year experience is desirable.
