Credential Information Minimum Qualifications A valid, unexpired California Education Specialist Credential in one of the following areas: • Extensive Support Needs • Mild to Moderate Support Needs • Moderate/Severe Disabilities (with or without the Education Specialist Bridge – Extensive Support Needs) • Mild/Moderate Disabilities, including Added Autism Authorization (with or without the Education Specialist Bridge – Mild to Moderate Support Needs) Valid English Learner authorization (e.g., ELAE/ELA1, CLAD, BCLAD); an Emergency English Learner authorization may be considered. Applicants who do not yet hold a California Education Specialist Credential but possess an equivalent out-of-state Special Education credential authorizing service to students with Extensive Support Needs or Mild to Moderate Support Needs must upload a copy of that credential. Internship Credentials, Emergency permits, and waivers may be considered for this position.
