Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid CA PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction credential OR a valid CA Multiple Subject Teaching credential with Bilingual authorization in Spanish AND one of the following: • at least 24 units in early childhood education or child development, or both; • professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described above (comparability determined by the district); • Child Development Teacher Permit issued by CTC

  • Credential Copy (valid Multiple Subject credential)
  • English Learner Authorization (copy of BCLAD in Spanish or equivalent bilingual authorization)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three recent letters with original signatures)
  • Other (CSET exam copy of equivalent Subject Matter competency)
  • Resume

  • Bilingual Authorization - Spanish (BCLAD copy must show credential number & current expiration date)

  • Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects
  •      OR  Other (PK-3 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialist Instruction Credential)
