Job Summary
San Luis Coastal Unified School District is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and equity-centered leader to serve as Director of Elementary Curriculum, Learning & Achievement. This position is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality curriculum and instructional practices across all elementary schools, ensuring every student has access to rigorous, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences. The Director will work closely with site leaders, teachers, and district teams to support professional learning, align curriculum and assessment systems, and use data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.

Final interviews (Executive Cabinet): 5/1/26
An offer will be made shortly after the final interview and the candidate's appointment will be submitted to the School Board for approval on 5/19/2026.
During May and June, there will be opportunities for the new Director to meet with the department staff to facilitate a smooth transition.
