Deaf and Hard of Hearing Itinerant Teacher, K-12 at Covina-Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
The teacher is responsible for designing and providing instructional experiences that will assist students to make optimum progress toward attainment of District goals. Conducts a program of instructional activities designed to enable students to achieve the instructional objectives set forth in the Course of Study as adopted by the Board of Education in assigned areas of instruction. Must have a valid California Education Specialist credential- Deaf and Hard of Hearing with Autism Authorization. Must be EL authorized. Health Benefits: Covina-Valley Unified School District offers 3 different employer-paid HMO medical plans (Kaiser HMO, Blue Shield of California Access HMO, and Trio HMO) to choose from as well as full dental, vision, and life insurance plans at no cost to all benefit-eligible employees. Extended coverage for your qualified dependents is also available at a low price. Employees who work 31+ hours/weekly also have the option to choose a low-cost PPO plan.
Start date will be August 11, 2026. The following must be attached to your Edjoin application:
