Job Summary
Definition: Under the direction of the Principal, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in an assigned classroom; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements specified under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
High school diploma or equivalent, and
Two years of college (48 units), or
A.A. degree (or higher), or
Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. This locally approved assessment is available through The Glenn County Office of Education, or
Pass the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST).
