Position- Grades Teachers Needed for Sycamore Creek Community Charter School Sycamore Creek Community Charter School is seeking compassionate, joyful, and collaborative teachers to join our vibrant faculty as a Grades Teacher. We currently have openings in elementary grades. We are looking for California credentialed teachers who have Waldorf training. We also encourage exceptional educators who are eager to embrace Waldorf pedagogy to apply. Sycamore Creek Community Charter School is a WASC accredited Waldorf inspired Charter school that serves 230 children TK through eighth grade located in Cypress, California. Our school offers a comprehensive Waldorf curriculum that includes Spanish, Mandarin, games, handwork, music, and choir. We have a strong emphasis on the outdoors, arts, and community. We are eagerly looking for like minded individuals to join our teaching team.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualications: A valid California Teaching Credential Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Waldorf training preferred, or interest in, or familiarity with Waldorf education Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt, take initiative, and maintain a positive attitude Strong collaborative skills and a dedication to fostering a vibrant school community Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development Must pass a background check and TB assessment Open to the Waldorf looping model (teachers loop with their classes for multiple years)
