Job Summary
JOB: ESY (Summer School) Special Education Teacher serving students in K-8 Specialized Academic Instruction Inclusion program. The ESY program is in session 18 days - non work days are June 19 and July 3. Loma Prieta Joint Union School District Elementary K-8 is seeking a teacher for our extended school year (ESY) special education program serving approximately 5-10 students. Programmatic paraeducator support will be provided and working under the direction of the Special education teacher.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Education Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate Teaching Credential, or alternate SPED credential CLAD Certificate California Special Education credential or eligible for Intern credential upon enrollment in a Special Education Credential Program. * Previous experience teaching special education in a classroom preferred. Candidates should provide a resume, letter of interest and at least 2 recent letters of recommendation.
