Job Summary

The Youth Development Specialist serves as a bridge between students, families, schools, and the broader community to support student motivation, academic achievement, well-being, and leadership development. This role is grounded in four core youth development principles: safety, relationship building, community involvement, and skill building. The Specialist uses strengths-based practices, centers student voice, and engages students and families through culturally responsive approaches.
