Public Safety Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic 7th and 8th Grade History Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities -Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in 7th and 8th grade history/social studies -Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning -Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs, including differentiation and small group instruction -Implement classroom management strategies that support student engagement and accountability -Assess student learning regularly and use data to inform instruction -Integrate reading, writing, and critical thinking skills into history instruction -Utilize technology and instructional resources effectively to enhance learning -Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians -Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and administration to improve instructional practices -Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
