This position is identified as being in a “hard-to-recruit” area. As such, a newly hired individual in this position with more than five (5) years of verified certificated experience will be placed in the appropriate column at the salary step closest to the salary from their last school district, but not less, unless there is no equivalent salary step on the schedule. This provision will apply only to new hires, or rehires with more than one-year break in service.
