Job Summary
Under the direction of a site principal, principal’s designee or other appropriate administrator, plan, implement, monitor, and assess a classroom instructional program which is consistent with District and Board goals and philosophies, local site goals and specific objectives based on assessment of student needs. The teacher will plan, operate and evaluate learning activities in the Health Science and Medical Technology CTE pathway, Patient Care. The teacher will provide students with meaningful instruction for and about health care careers. The position is designed to prepare graduates as viable competitors in the health care industry and for advanced educational opportunities. The teacher will prepare students for health science related certifications, credentials, and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults.
