The individual selected for this position will become an integral part of LAUSD’s executive team and will direct the District’s information services function. Specific responsibilities include: -Providing strategic leadership in anticipating and developing appropriate and innovative responses to future needs and challenges regarding the District's information technology program. -Providing assistance to the Deputy Superintendent of Instruction and staff in meeting their information needs. -Working closely with the Board of Education, Superintendent, Deputy Superintendents, and field personnel to understand their information needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
