SALARY: Minimum Instructor Pay (MIP) is the difference between retired pay and the active duty pay and allowances (excluding hazardous duty and special pays) that JROTC instructor would receive if ordered to active duty, plus health, dental, vision, life insurance and Employee Assistance Program. This is a twelve month pay schedule based on the Minimum Instructor Pay (MIP) that is submitted at the time of hire.
