With schools dating back to the 1870s, the award-winning Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) is now the 16th largest school district in California. RUSD educates nearly 42,000 students across 50 schools in Riverside. The District serves a large portion of Riverside as well as the unincorporated areas of Highgrove and Woodcrest. SALARY: Minimum Instructor Pay (MIP) is the difference between retired pay and the active duty pay and allowances (excluding hazardous duty and special pays) that JROTC instructor would receive if ordered to active duty, plus health, dental, vision, life insurance and Employee Assistance Program. This is a twelve month pay schedule based on the Minimum Instructor Pay (MIP) that is submitted at the time of hire.
