Job Summary
Under the direction of the principal (or designee), assumes responsibility for leadership in all phases of counseling and guidance services in a secondary school; provides informational and support services to students, teachers, and parents/guardians to assist the student in making appropriate decisions relative to the student’s academic, postsecondary, and social emotional development; and assists in other school programs as needed.

Possession of a valid California credential authorizing service as a school counselor.
