Visions Is seeking a Curriculum Specialist for the 2026/27 school year. The Curriculum Specialist is a certificated professional responsible for the development, review, and continuous improvement of high-quality, standards-aligned curriculum across TK–12 grade levels. Under the direction of an assigned administrator, this role ensures coherence and alignment across grade bands and content areas, supporting instructional consistency and equitable learning experiences for all students. The Curriculum Specialist collaborates with internal teams to analyze curriculum effectiveness, integrate engaging instructional strategies such as project-based learning, and develop resources including lesson plans, pacing guides, and assessments. This position also supports compliance with state standards and regulatory requirements while using data and stakeholder feedback to drive ongoing curriculum refinement and program improvement. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 1 day at our office in Gold River, CA and 4 days remotely. However, depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change. - Possession of a valid California teaching credential. - Three or more years of teaching experience. - Previous experience of curricular review and curriculum development in online settings preferred.
