JOB OVERVIEW The Bassett Unified School District (BUSD) Board of Education is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its next Superintendent. Nestled in the eastern region of the San Gabriel Valley, the District’s 7 schools serve 2,876 Pre-K-12 students in the La Puente Valley. The District has a history of strong family engagement and offering robust academic programs that prepare students for individual growth and success in life, college and career. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE • A forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of success in a pre K-12 education setting • Cabinet level experience preferred • Site principal experience preferred • Administrative credential strongly preferred • Master’s degree from accredited college or university required • Doctorate preferred
