Job Summary
The Physical Therapist (PT) is a licensed professional who provides physical therapy as a related service in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), California Education Code, and applicable regulations. Services are provided when required to assist a student with a disability to benefit from special education. The Physical Therapist supports student access to and participation in the instructional program and school activities in the least restrictive environment (LRE), in conformity with the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Services are educationally relevant and designed to address functional mobility, physical development, and access to curriculum within the school setting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Valid California Physical Therapy License First Aid and CPR Certification Fingerprint clearance and TB clearance required prior to employment
