Job Summary

Under the direction of the Administrative Director Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, perform a variety of dispatching; bus pass coordination; and other clerical duties in support of District student transportation functions; utilize a telephone and two-way radio to receive transportation requests and information and provide assistance to bus drivers.

  • Certificate Copy (California School Bus Driver Certificate Preferred)

  • Driver's License Copy (California Class B Commercial Driver's License w/ Passenger & Air Brake Endorsements Preferred)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimum of 2 Letters of Recommendation dated within the last 2 years of posting date)

Location: Facilities Hours: 8.0 hours hours per day / 12.0 months per year Monday - Friday / 7:00 am -3:30 pm Sick leave and vacation are earned at a rate of one day per month. There is an available insurance policy for hospitalization, major medical, dental, vision, and life. School employees must join the School Employees Retirement System. California School Employees Association Agreement Article VI, 6.1.3 states: "Voluntary transfer/promotion requests by an employee for an opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee." Article VI, 6.3.2 states: "When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to the bargaining unit employees."
