Job Summary

Natomas High School is seeking an Assistant Principal who is ready to engage in strategic initiatives designed to align our educational programs and services to support every student, every day. We are seeking professional educators who are knowledgeable about systems for student intervention and support, both academically and socially, for all students, including those who are English Learners, in Special Education, or Advanced Learners. Leaders who are adept at fostering a positive school culture, who are eager to embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, and provide an engaging and safe learning community where all students will demonstrate responsibility, achieve academic and social-emotional growth, embrace diversity, and are prepared to make decisions about their college and career success, are strongly encouraged to apply. Natomas High is a comprehensive, AP Capstone, neighborhood school that uses Advanced Placement courses, CTE Pathways, and campus programs to support students to graduate College and Career Ready. Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: -Equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in education, education administration, social work, counseling, or a related field is desired. -Five years of responsible teaching experience is required. -Possession of an Administrative Credential issued by the State of California Pre-employment Clearances/Requirements: -Valid Driver’s License -TB Test Clearance -Fingerprint clearance
