Requirements / Qualifications
Current CPR/AED Certification, First Aid Card, Coaching Certificate, Concussion Certificate, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate and knowledge of adolescent psychology required. Valid TB test, Fingerprint clearance, Keenan course completions, and all other RJUHSD mandated certificates. All coach clearance certifications and requirements as stated on the RJUHSD website. Please note: First Aid and CPR/AED must be hand's on training course, we do not accept on-line courses.

Comments and Other Information
The position of Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach at Granite Bay High School is responsible for building and running a comprehensive basketball program. This includes overseeing all three levels at the high school, as well as the feeder program that consists of the junior high and elementary schools that feed into Granite Bay. The coach will be asked to formulate plans that focus on: improving the athlete’s athletic performance, nutrition, educational performance, fundraising, and building relationships with the community at school. Prior Head Coaching and/or Varsity coaching experience is preferred. There may be a potential teaching position associated with this job opportunity.
