THE OPPORTUNITY ( Position Overview) Reporting to the Student Support Director, the Education Specialist Lead will be responsible for supporting all education specialists across the iLEAD schools, in conjunction with the school site directors, to ensure learners with IEPs have compliant IEPs and appropriate implementation of services. This position reports to the Orange County Learning Studio in Costa Mesa to support Ed Specialists and learners.

Current CA mild to moderate or extensive needs special education credential
Five years of related experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with learners, parents, personnel and community
Experience in educating students with special needs.
Proven effective classroom and student behavior management skills.
Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies.
Knowledge and understanding of state, local and federal regulations and policies affecting special education.
Knowledge of educational technology applications.
Excellent Oral, Written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, assess priorities and meet deadlines.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of individuals including learners, parents, staff, and the community.
Experience with an education setting and/or real world experience in being non-traditional, flexible, open-minded, and collaborative.
Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
