Job Summary
The Military Science Teacher & Commandant of Cadets provides synchronous virtual instruction in Military Science while serving as the Commandant of the school’s California Cadet Corps unit. This position integrates academic instruction with cadet leadership development. The instructor teaches live virtual Military Science courses and oversees the planning, administration, and operation of the cadet program. Responsibilities include training cadets, managing program logistics and records, organizing events, and fostering leadership development through practical activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential (any subject) with EL Authorization (CLAD) Valid California Designated Subjects Special Teaching Credential-Basic Military Drill Authorization or willingness to obtain OR Special Secondary Teaching Credential- Military Science and Tactics Completed and Updated EdJoin Application Updated AB2534 Employment History Letter of Introduction 3 Letters of Recommendation (signed and dated within the past year) Resume California residency required
