Applications will be accepted from current employees ONLY for Extended School Year positions. The 2026 summer session is scheduled from Monday, June 22, through Friday, July 17, 2026. The above positions are temporary; not to exceed thirty (30) days and the work schedule for each classified position is to be determined. Employment in the summer school program will be contingent upon the enrollment in the programs offered. Interested employees should complete a Summer School Employment Application and Questionnaire and submit to Kelli Burns, Director of Classified Personnel, via Edjoin no later than Friday, April 10 2026 at 4:00p.m. Essential Functions: • Provides occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Educational Plans (IEP); develop intervention plans in accordance with District policies and procedures; • participates in IEP meetings, maintains progress notes on student records and provides reports for use in IEP team meetings; participates on the inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary assessment teams. • Conducts assessment of students within their educational settings using an ecological model to determine the need for occupational therapy; conducts reassessments of students focusing on areas of need at educationally relevant intervals; • Regularly re-evaluates students occupational therapy components of the IEP; reports results of evaluations and occupational therapy services to staff, parents, students and other professionals and agencies concerned with the student; reviews reports from health care providers requesting occupational therapy services; • Assists school staff in interpreting occupational therapy services; consults and collaborates with staff and parents in providing occupational therapy services to students on site and through home programs; • Responsible for and provides in-service training and professional development for staff; monitors implementation of occupational therapy program goals by

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • A combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates an ability to perform the duties of the position. • Completion of Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree and college course work in occupational therapy as required for certification. • Work experience with children (from birth to twenty-two years of age) providing occupational therapy services. LICENSES REQUIRED: • Valid registration by the American Occupational Therapy Association or National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy. • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
